How would like to start the New Year with a lot of fun? Join us in February when we begin Mystery Quilt 2010 Group. This will be a fund raising project for the guild. We will be taking reservations to join the Group at the monthly meetings. The fee will be $11 which will include pattern and monthly instructions. This quilt has very few seams to match and no triangles so it is well suited for beginning to experienced quilters. The revealing of the quilts will be part of the January 2011 program. Come join us for fun, fabric and fantastic quilt making. To give you an idea of the fabric required for the project I have included a list of fabrics needed.

Two Sizes
80" X 94" full (before border – 64" X 78")
or
60" X 70 1/2" large lap (before border 48" X 58 1/2")

The information for the larger quilt is given first and it is followed by the information for the smaller in parentheses. Avoid directional fabrics. Contrast is important.

Fabric #1 - Light 2 3/4 (1 7/8) yards
Fabric #2 - Medium 1 1/2 (7/8) yards
Fabric #3 - Medium Dark 1 7/8 (1 3/8) yards
Fabric #4 - Dark 3/4 (1/2) yards
Border 2 1/2 (2) yards*
Backing 7 1/2 (3 3/4) yards*
Binding 1 (3/4) yard*

*The border, backing, and binding may be purchased after the mystery has been solved, but more of the same fabrics may not be available.
