8 :: Shoppach House Historic Park - 4th Annual Quilt Exhibit & Open House
The fourth annual "Quilt Exhibit and Open House" will be held at the Shoppach House Historic Park in Benton on Saturday, May 8, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Vintage quilts will be on display throughout the house, as well as in the Pilgrim Rest Church building which is also on the park grounds. Admission is free and open to the public. The park is located in downtown Benton at the corner of Military and Main.

15 :: Airing of the Quilts Quilt Show
The practice of airing the quilts continues with the 'Airing of the Quilts' Quilt Show to be held Saturday, May 15th from 9am to 5pm at historic sites in Greenwood, AR. New quilts and antique quilts will be on display. The quilt show is sponsored by the Alpha Delta Chapter of ESA with proceeds benefiting the South Sebastian County Historical Society. 14 :: Program - Deb Karasik, co-author of “Quilt Mavens – Perfect Paper Piecing.”
If you love spiky quilts with lots of skinny points, you are sure to enjoy meeting Deb Karasik. In addition to lecturing and showing her quilts during the meeting, she will also be teaching her paper piecing techniques on Saturday, June 12 and Sunday, June 13. Pictures of the two projects and registration forms will be available at the February meeting. These six hour classes are sure to be lots of fun as well as very informative, so sign up early!
